I know that fish collection in placentia can get them for 80-100 depwnding on the size...u should call and find out

Nope, this guy even goes after my multi colored velvet wrasse at feedings. He's an equal opportunity aggressor. My error was when I QT'd I took him out of the hospital first because he was getting feisty. Therefore making him first in and the automatic king of the castle. Live and learn Prof.

Aggreed with wicked. Mine makes sure he's the king. My female maroon and him go round cus he swiwms where he wants and she doesn't want him near her nem. I think he does it just to get some excitement going. He fight with his reflection all evening when the lights start to go out. He even fights with the magnet cleaners when I clean the glass. Witch has led me to only clean the glass in the dark. Even if all the lights are out in the tank and he's chilling in his cave and there is just some fant light from a light on upstairs, he will go nuts on the mag-clean if it moves. Also if I go a while without putting my hands in the tank, he will go after my hands

Is there ANY Ancanthurus sp that isn't super aggressive? I really want a large surgeon for my 150 but they're all lil bastards...

Mine does too. He even let's me pick him up and take him out of the water. But if I give it some between putting hands in. He's got to investigate the new items. A few times my finger tip have been confused as food. I've stopped feeding from my hands I don't want him to associate my hand with food.

Is there ANY Ancanthurus sp that isn't super aggressive? I really want a large surgeon for my 150 but they're all lil bastards... They are all pretty mean once established in our glass cages that are not remotly close to the room they need like in the ocean. But if you get them all at once you will have a better chance or tiny.
