hey everyone been doing my research on xenia since i pick up some today, but i been getting mix message online so if anyone can tell me if i have 150w mh and 2x55w pc lighting can i put them on the top also in front of the powerhead?

Haha all kidding aside, what type of xenia is it? Pom pom? Elongata? What color? Grey/silver? Red? Pink? White? Blue? Do they pulse? Fast? Slow?

I personally believe that different xenias thrive well in different enviroments so the type of xenia would be important.

But no, do not put them infront of a powerhead. Generally, dont put any coral RIGHT infront of a power head. Any softies, at least as tissues will begin to tear and what not.

Ek but you are so far away! I don't have many small pieces right now but I have a piece FS right now with about 15-17 heads and another with like 60.. Lol LMK and PM if you're interested.

I had a huge colony in my fuge and I decided to place them in my main..and they all melted away. I guess it was the light shock. :bawling:

they don't take well to fast lighting changes otherwise they grow like weeds. Maybe not feeding them ?
