So a couple months ago I built a acrylic 1 gallon tank outa scraps from work.
I also DIY pancake leds on a plexi lid for light & a HOB filter
I tested it and all went well. It sat empty for abit til last weekend.

I have this crazy a.ss hermit crab in my main tank and noticed the m 'effer
was trying to dig my conch outa his shell.

Well guess where the crab went. To the Pico Jail!. I Filled it up/Added a piece of LR
some sand and a trimmin of cactus algea.

LMK what you guys and gals think

Thanks Chris. I added the blue translucent Sign Film on the underside for a different effect.
Evaporation on this thing is crazy. and yes a couple cups for a WC.

My little experiment if you will

Water level drops about .25" per day.
Cool seahorse idea. Never had any experience with them or pipefish. hmmm.
Not sure what else i can keep in it. I wasnt really going to run this thing: until the
hermit raped my conch. I needed to put him somewhere.

Yep lid will fix ur problem! I've never had a seahorse but I know they're slow eaters so they don't do well with other fish cuz they starve. In a tiny tank with only seahorse And pipefish u will be good. Maybe try a pipefish and see what happens. I think pipefish might eat pods too

I've kept a couple. Ya I think a seahorse tank would be cool. Low flow it would be nice

I'd do a hippo. Kuda.
