Now time to let it sit and see what happens. Hopping no seam splits.
If all goes well next weekend drilling the back wall for external overflow and returns.

I know it’s getting old.

“Wow fat boy it’s a glass box with water, yea stop showing us , get a life, post something interesting!”

I here these voices.

But it’s still holding

Well took the strap off and the wood formed to the metal stand. No more gaps

Now it’s right side up

One side door made

This will be the door for the control panel. Reason being is that it’s hard to see in the pics but there is a sheet of acrylic in the center. In going to frost the acrylic on the inside. But you will slightly be able to see the light from the controllers through the frosted acrylic. After the glue dries I’ll route the edges and sand the wood smooth.

Looking great man,

That's a trip, I've never seen it notched together like that. I did pocket joints, but this is awesome. No filling & sanding or screws to rust. very cool.

Thanks sir. In all honesty it was just how I did it cause I made the notch for the acrylic window and thought run the notch up the sides of the inside pieces and fill the notch with spacers and glue them in place so they hold as extra support. So that spacer runs the distance of the notch.

if you have a spare wavemaker, I'd put it in the tank on max... the push and pull of one will really test the seam strength.... you know, like waterbed sexy time..

How’s the tank holding??
I’m not sure if this is a sarcastic post, but if it is, hey I get it I been posting every little thing I’ve done. Lol I can roll with the punches

But no status change, still holding up with out issues. Drained about 2gal out so I could add some vinegar to the water. We live close to lake perris and not to far from a few cattle ranches. We have been having issues with the Asian tiger mosquito. My lady and son have been getting eat up like crazy. They say vinegar is a good repellent.
