On a six foot peninsula, I'm using three Gen5 XR30 pro's on a custom schedule (with the white channels around 40%), supplemented by four 60" XHO Reefbrite actinic strips

They're quite expensive for what they provide. Not a ton of PAR, but very good coverage and adds a nice color pop. If AI blades were available when I purchased, I probably would have opted for the blades.

I figure that purple slimer and blue tort should look really nice under my fuller spectrum. Think so?

P.s., foxface made a full recovery, amazingly. CBB is eating mysis, live white worms, and occasionally freeze dried black worms, but is very funny. He/she eats and eats (I target feed it for now) and then abruptly stops and watches food bounce off his forehead.
