Hahahah I was waiting for someone to say something. I have all my packages sent to my GFs work. She is in her office all day so she can sign for stuff. I had something sent to my house back in the day, and no one signed for it so I had to drive all the way to FedEx building and pick it up. Hassle! Especially when it's something your waiting anxiously to get.

Ya it was too pricey. I'm gunna have this one on a timer anyways. Should never have a problem. Plus I'm gunna get a second solenoid. Just as a backup

Ended up being like $100 shipped. That was dual float switches, mount, relay, low voltage kit, and solenoid. I bought a $10 timer so it only turns on twice a day for 15 minutes. I'm gunna add another solenoid inline as a backup. I love the setup. Just last night I drilled thru my wall so my ro/di comes strait to my tank. NEVER CARRY 5 gallon jugs again!!!!!!! Def worth the $100. And it's cheaper than any ATO kit, if u add up a reservoir, and pump etc.

I have that covered! Brute trash can on wheels. Keep it in my shed with my ro/di. Mix salt, then wheel it in my house......never having to lift 5 gallon jugs again! Lol

im thinking of doing the same setup now that i got an RODI setup. im am worried about the solenoid leaking and the tank overflowing because of it. 2 solenoids is a good idea but the risk still scares me. something about a endless supply of water hooked up to the tank makes me nervous

Ya but I check on my tank on a daily basis and the chances of 2 solenoids going out at the same time is kind of like getting hit by lightening! Lol. If u wanted to be really crazy, u could install a float valve in your sump and connect the ro/di to that. So assuming both solenoids go bad, the manual float valve will hold it off till you figured it out. These solenoids are pretty strong by the way, and there is not that much pressure. So I doubt they would start leaking.
