Help with my LPS

What about anoter corals placement possibly sending out a sweeper tentacal and killing the coral. Like an acan echinata or possibly a chalice?

Nope all my chalices are on their own island.. only the acans are near eachother..

+1 maybe its getting stung? But serious though without pictures its hard to diagnosis the problem.

nah, black bugs will wipe out a tank full of LPS in a matter of days...

Hm.... recently i was playing with the lights alot because I changed them out and changed the schedule.. do you think this couldve just pissed them off to the point where they died???

Oh waitttt... I forgot but then I dont understand why all of a sudden I have got so much algae on my glass..

Theyre all acan lordhowensis.. No echinatas.

Yeah my little rainbow scan echinata frag sent out a 4 or 5 " sweeper and wiped out a quarter of my Miami hurricane chalice... Like a dime sized dead spot. In one day.

Sound like a need for some Interceptor! OK, say what you want, but when I was loosing my acans (about 7 colonies) I used Interceptor, and walla! the rest of my acans survived!!!aqulove

Yup interceptor is always a good thing to dose! I wish it wasn't so expensive. Black bugs and red bugs are pretty common now a days.

Nope super easy to use. Just hard to get sometimes.

I was just about to say the same thing. It sounds like you might have LPS eating bugs, crabs. Good luck!
Look up LPS eating crabs, they eat LPS from the inside out. Check this out!!!

I seen a few little black spots but I dont see them moving so im unsure if its bugs or tissue.. could it be my low mag aswell??? Im posting pictures right now..
