hello to all, how long in between feedings? i'm going out of town for a few days and am wondering if its cool not to feed for 4 days?

same goes for fish. they can go for a while without eating.

That seems kinda well...not nice. Just get an auto feeder and put some pellets in it. You should try to feed pellets anyways as they are pretty good for fish. But either way it gives them something over the time you are away.

When I went on a four day vacation, I used Eheim fish feeder, just put some flakes in and set timer twice a day. When I came back everything was fine.

I got an eheim auto feeder so my fish eat four times a day I like to keep them well fed I bought them I'm gonna take care of them and feed them I already put them in a glass box jmo

this is not true for all fish. many anthias and a moorish idol going without for 4 days can and will lead to their death. every fish has a different eating habbit. it is important you understand those habbits and feed accordingly. i would recommend an auto feeder as well. a fish that goes 4 days without food will be more suseptable to disease, and you could come back to a very sick tank.
