Been out the game for a bit but I'm back and I'm upgrading. Just placed an order for a Crystal Dynamic 3 sided starphire 150g tank with recessed Euro brace and Herbie Oflow setup. Thanks to [MENTION=4657]OGFrenchHorn[/MENTION] for letting me pick his brain about Crystal Dynamic. If things go according to plan the tank will be on display at RAP and I'll be picking it up there. Dims are 48"Lx30"Dx24"H. For lighting I'll be moving the 3 radions I already have from my current tank (btw will be up for sale soon IM nuvo 120g). Spent half the evening with [MENTION=3628]BeanMachine[/MENTION] going over sumps and still undecided but can't afford pvc hybrid like the one he's getting. Skimmer I'm thinking of going Aquamaxx Cones S3 (please comment your thoughts if you have this skimmer). Return most likely will be the Vectra. First things first I'm going to start the stand build and I have some ideas that I hopefully can implement. More to come.

So I ordered a PVC sump from John cuz I couldn't help myself. Will be ready at RAP. John and I came up with a more affordable PVC design that he wants to show there. Man is it November yet?

S3 is a beast! I run the sk2 on my 90 and a friend runs the S3 on his 150. One of the best skimmers on the market. What size returns will your tank have?

ok update on the tank build. Will upload some pics pretty soon. Got my sump from John at AA and couldn't be happier! If you were at RAP and visited his booth, it was the Gray PVC sump on display next to Cody's behemoth. Matching ATO should arrive next week, and last word from Crystal Dynamic is that my tank will be ready next week as well. Already picked up the Steel Stand from Willy at Ocean Marine and couldn't be happier!

I have one block of the regular media and a block of the Xport NO3. I'll prob start off with the regular block first and once things get established add in the NO3 block.
