Hello Gang
Most of you only know me as a moderator here but for some reason I still felt the need to write this. Im not only the guy that tells people about the rules and gives infractions, I do much more. I fix broken links, I help people with their posts. I designed the last three or four headers for SCR even as far back as Reef Discussion and I have created countless graphics for SCR. I designed the RD shirts and Im designing the new SCR shirts. I even wrote the rules that some of you hate so much. I worked out the deal with MAX to get us to the show for the first time ever but more then all that, I do my best to check my personal problems at the door and be as helpful as possible here because I love reefing and I love this forum.
Im stepping down as moderator here today on my own and without any persuasion from management. Ive been really disappointed in a lot of the members here and nothing I do seems to make it any better. I hope you all remember that this is a reefing hobby, not ultimate fighting and we are part of a reef forum. We should all be respectful to each other. This place could be a great source of information if we all started caring a little more about reefing and our fellow reefers and a little less about the day-to-day burdens of this crazy world that brings us together in the first place. I hope you all can work on caring a little more about who could possibly be reading here, like new reefers or even children.
