It's been a bad week LOL. Looks like my chromis' and the clowns are the only ones without it so far. Blue tang has it so bad it's on his eyes and he's breathing really fast. What finally got rid of yours?

I couldnt kick it... Sorry for the bad news but I tried rid ick which was reef safe and it was to late... my yellow tang stressed out from it and stressed the entire tank out over night and I lost all 8 of my fish in the matter of a 8 hour period in the middle of the night... it was a horrible feeling that I could not save them... I hope you have better luck then I do. good luck bro

I tried ick attack and rid ick. The only thing that has worked for me is catching them and putting them in a QT with copper. Been through this 3 times.....

Dave, check your water param's. The fish are stressed for a reason. Come by the shop will work something out for the stuff you need.

As of Sunday evening, params were:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20
PH 8.25
KH 11
Temp 79.9
Ca 400

I had done a 20% (15 gallon) water change Friday

I'll swing by after work... I get to the park and ride at I5 and Jeffrey about 6pm (sometimes sooner). will turn around and head your way

I think I see where your Ick might have come from, you have 12 fish plus an anemone in a 75 gallon. Even though you have a large skimmer I don't think that there is enough space for all of them to reside without stress.

Hey Dave,

I just feed the crap out of the blue tang and the ick was gone in like couple days. I do this for all my fish and it works all the time. Only time it doesn't work is when the fish doesn't eat. Than it is a loss cause. Don't stress them out by catching them. If the tang can't shake it by feeding or doesn't eat, then I would quarantine the tang w copper (last resort).

I agree with Bkoo29... my Blue Hippo had it bad too...and on his eyes! I fed the crap out of mine, kept my hands out of the tank, soaked the food in vitamins and slowly but surely he's 110% good right now...never looked better! I know it sounds to simple, and I'm not saying it will work for you but it did for us :)
