I just finish led bar need help .do i need lens ?
i did with 5'x1" anumium bar 4white 6 blue 2red cree led

If you want a lil more Par then yes... Otherwise I think w/o it, the angle is 120 for those stars... But if u want par and depth penetration then you'll need optics whether 45, 60, or 80... www.rapidled.com will have em if they're XP-G or XP-E types...

Sweet DYI project, but I hope you're only using it for a fish only tank or maybe to add on top a bigger lighting system...
