Looking for something "flowy" for my daughters clown tank. We have a long polyp leather, neon green sinularia, and a nice RBTA from @Smite . Looking for ideas for a few more pieces.

I have chalices, zoas, and high end mushrooms but looking for something that grows vertically. She doesn't care about fancy corals. But Daddy does so needs to be decent haha!

Any ideas?

Oh and happy reefing and enjoy your weekend you trouble makers! :)

Thanks yeah those are cool. I wouldn't mind one of the thick bushy ones... but the kessils seem to drown out the color on gorgs so they looked washed out. But that definitely will go on the list. The tank is tied into my display so its stable.

Good old Kenya trees are always fun, fairly fast growing with a lot of movement. Can be fragged and sold later to supplement future coral costs.

I love paly grandis palys as well. And there are a few different color variations you can get.

there are probally a few hardy lps you could do too- maybe Duncan’s, a hammer or torch?

there are some pretty looking toxic green finger leathers that almost look like acros. Yet easy to keep.

also if you have no fish that eat macro algae, there are some really cool macro algae out there too.

just some food for thought.

also- any photos? Would love to see your set up.

Mind posting a pic or two? Might be easier to get the "vision" :)
Is this one of those if I show you mine you'll show me yours type situations?

Sure I can post a pic a little later. Its a 20 gallon IM Fusion, Kessil A160, no powerheads... budget build. Working on it.

I decided against the fungia scape I made, was afraid of algae growing all over.

AAAAH thanks Duncans! Forgot about those. Definitely need some. Anyone have any for trade? I've got some zoas on deck.

I would have killed to have that as a kid. Looks good! I second a Pink Nepthea and branching GSP. Those would look awesome in that tank.
Now I just need to figure out how to teach a 4 year old to do maintenance lol

I may add some zoas to it that I have in the main display.

Pink Nepthea really looks drab under all blues.

And no GSP I can’t teach my mini Reefer bad habits hahaha jk sorta

Now that I think about it some Dragons Breath macro algae would work in the nano. Anyone have any?

Looking good! If you're not running pumps on that back wall I'd let something encrust it like cyphastrea. Watch the macro, those pigs would tag the nori sheet with my tangs. I've had that japanese napthea before it's nice. Like a kenya tree but colorful and you don't have to give it away when you cut it
