I have several good size leathers I want to move to new locations in my tank. They are well attached to the rockwork and do not to damage any rocks removing it.
Do I just cut the stalk off as close to the rock as possible?
If I cut it from rocks, can I glue it with superglue to a new location?
Do I need to wait for the cut to heal?
Do i need to scrape the remainders of the old stalk from the rock?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Yes

I've never really super glued leathers, I always use the rubber band or toothpick method.

Do I need to wait for the cut to heal?
No

Do i need to scrape the remainders of the old stalk from the rock?
Not necessarily, but another leather will continue to grow from any remains of the leather on the rock.

I don't think super glue will work well with in soft coral. Sew it to a rock, put a veil over it and let it attach, toothpicks.
