A couple of weeks ago I posted in the welcome forum trying to decide on a tank. I was thinking of just going with a nano cube because of my lack of knowledge. I decided I wanted something a bit bigger and more flush looking in my living room.
I ended up getting a 50 gallon cube and had absolutely no idea how to set up ANYTHING other than building the cabinet. I had tons of questions. With some help from bryg3783 for sending me pics of his sump and piping setup and lots of help from Jason over at tropical reef fish store I finally got my tank going. Today I got my sand, water and custom rock made by Jason (after 3 trips to and from TRFS for water). Tonight I plugged everything in and it seems to be running well (knock on wood).

I completely forgot to give you credit for the rock you made ( editing post now). I fits perfect in the tank, I can't wait to start growing on it. I will be back by in the morning to bring back the jugs!

I was wondering first timer aqua scape doesn't look this good. You have a pro doing the work. Hahaahahahhahaha great job jason
Lol, yea, I definitely needed him. I don't know a single person in the hobby so I was going into it completely blind. Setting up the tank, sump, plumbing and skimmer was a little scary for me. My skimmer came in pieces and he put it together for me. I even pulled a bonehead move and put the gasket on the wrong side, which was causing a small leak and Jason helped me out with that also.
