Brain coral is receding, Need help to try to make it survive. I currently have it in a 24g Nano cube, I feed my tank with Kent Marine Microver5 3x a week and Salifert (All in one) 1x a week. Every other day I will give my 2 fish a damsel and tomato clown some brine shrimp plus. The fish store that I go to in Redlands, Loma Linda is really not that great, just some money hungry bastards that try to sell you stuff that is high priced and have no sort of gaurantee if the fish die within a few hours. So I said F' em, you won't see me buying stuff from them again. So I need some advice, I'm new to this forum so please let me know.

Brain coral require a fair amount a food. Try feeding either mysis shrimp or some type of small meaty fresh seafood ( shrimp, mussel, ect.. ) toit at night. Turn the pumps off and lightly let the food settle in the middle of the brain coral. If they are starving they will recede. Good luck

my brain coral eats the mysis shrimp like it is going out of style and is doing great. They require feeding other than all in one tank feed.Try to feed it from a syringe or turkey baister and feed it that way and see if thtis helps out.
Good luck

Thanks for the replies guys, umm I guess I'll try to feed it some mysis shrimp. Do I get this at the local pet store? Also the lighting is fairly new, tank have been up and running for over 8 months. Do I feed the brain coral through the little mouths with the pumps off?
