I don't know how you guys do the grow out competitions but I'm down to donate 10 frags from our store if someone from one of the clubs wants to organize it. Let me know how it works and what the rules are when I make the frags Or if we can do it on the frags we already have growing I know we have 10 frags of the same thing because I just fragged a couple colonies today.

I didn't realize there would be so many people interested. Let me get to the shop in an hour or so and see what colony I can frag up and how many pieces I can make. I'll try to open it up to 20 or more. We can pick up this weekend. I'll frag today. Not sure if that's too soon?

Id be in for a grow out. This time let's just do one piece. 3 was harder to keep track. It would be cool if we could do a named piece that everyone knows. Like a green slimer or something like that. Just a thought. Put me on the list

If it was a named piece, I think people would be willing to pay for it.

I only say a named piece, because that way people know what it's supposed to look like. Easier to judge.

Yea it really seems like a lot of people will be interested this time around. im sure if you chop up a colony, people wouldn't mind paying a fair price for purposes of a fun competition. Ideally the frags should be the same in size as larger pieces will grow faster. in the end it will be about the progress from each individual piece so it does not have to be exact.

I can start a new thread when its ready to begin. when we have a total amount of frags we can sign up more people and the new thread will have the requirements and rules. lets keep the list so we can stay in order of whos in and whos not in. some people will have to be cut if there are not enough frags.

I can't speak for everyone but I'm willing to pay for my frag. Then the prize or prizes can be a gift certificate to your store. I honestly think that would be fair for everyone. It doesn't have to be much even if it's $5-$10. Just my thought. That may thin the heard a little if needed.
Nothing is free in this world but air and sunlight and some people will even pay for that. LOL
