i think the color change will be just as cool as when it grows. i had a red planet that faded out during a move and now it has gotten its color back and wow it was so cool to see how much color it gained each day. i just looked at it and remembered why i wanted it in the first place :)

I know sbrob is playing and he is from Santa Barbara. Please get in contact with him. Maybe you guys can split the shipping or he can pick up for you. Lmk
Hey Travis, Ryan and I are picking up together tomorrow. If you can't find anything for shipping I can at least get it to SB for you. Ryan might be able to get it to SM but I don't want to commit him to anything. Just pm me here or on CCRK and i'll get it on my phone while we are driving down tomorrow.

What time do they open? I might be able to go get it myself tomorrow morning
10am...
Now we're having major vehicle issues... Don't trust either car to make that trip...
Think maybe you could pick up mine and jkinros's while you are there?
I can meet you at Chads when you get back to grab it.

Good meeting you Jason. Thanks again.
Just posting quick pic's, will update tank details later.
I did clean the reflector and replace the bulb that was well over a year old.
New 15K Reef Grow 400w.

Tank Info:
270 gallon with i think a 55 maybe 60 gallon sump filled halfway (some sand, a few pounds of live rock, Cheato and 5 Mangro) filter sock and big no name brand skimmer not sure what it’s rated at. Two 400 Watt MH powered by electronic Ballasts, with Lumenarc III style reflectors. Over 9000 GPH flow. Use instant ocean salt mix and conduct a 10% water change once a month if I’m not being lazy. I hand dose Kent Tech I once a week, and Kent Liquid Calcium daily. Top off RO/DI water by hand also. No fancy name brand equipment at all. All low end budget equipment.

SS frag is 26 inches below the light bulb.

Click (My 270) in my signature if you want to see more pictures of the tank.

New frag i picked up at AIM. :)
the picture doesn't do the color justice. broke a branch :(

everyone with a frag should start a new tread just on their frag. that way it is easy to see your stuff about your frag only and not have a bunch of other people popping in about other subjects. im just saying...

didn't see the broken branch until after i put it in the tank, so it's 3 feet deep, and soon to be lost and gone forever. not going to try and fish it out.
i can see a big difference with my new bulb and the other side of the tank with the bulb over a year old, guess i'll have to slap a new one in on the other side tomorrow.

Break...
That's a fancy ruler. and good luck to you.

Its a $1.99 fancy! Lol its the only one I could find...

On another note... Maybe I should change out some bulbs. Haven't done it in a while, but I think I'll wait a couple of days to do that. Frag is at the bottom of the tank and hope to bring it up to the frag rack in a few.

Hmm. frag placement. i don't remember looking to see what was over the tank at AIM. Did he have T5's and that's why your light acclimating the SS Frag under your MH?
