watch out peoples...

if some people and LFS are claiming that they have australian hammers, torches or frogspawns there's a chance they aren't... there have been some very nice solid orange, orange tip and even white tip specimens coming out of the indo oceans... some of them are very convincing... i got a nice 10" euphillia hammer for 60 bucks... i thought it was all right for the color and shape, but still don't pay as if it is an australian piece...

you know when a LFS has australian pieces... they can't just get a australian torch from a supplier... they have to buy a bunch of pieces...

good luck...

I thought LFS bring in their Australian corals from the wholesalers wihch they can pick and chose one or several.

You are right about nice corals that look Austrailian in some LFS. At least my LFS was honest. I asked if this nice bright green Hammer was from Australia. He said no but he picked it up from the wholesaler because it looked like Austrailian but was from the Indo. At least he didnt jack up the price and mislabeled it
