Phosphate test kit

Hi newbie question. Which test kit is best for phosphate? All the recommendations is for below 0.05ppm, but my API kit only has 0.0 and 0.25. Thanks.

I’ve tried a lot of phosphate kits over the decades and settled on Hanna too,

just be sure to get the ultra low range kit.

Hanna phosphorous ulr has the tightest accuracy range so I would get this.

They’re very similar but the phosphorus checker (736, ppb) is slightly more precise, as 736 has an accuracy of +/- 5ppb (~0.015ppm), whereas 774 has an accuracy of +/- 0.02ppm (~7ppb).

You really can’t go wrong with either, but the phosphorus checker is slightly more precise.

I use the Hanna LR phosphate because it's still accurate above 0.1, and still works for lower values
