I plan to sell it soon. I picked it up from vivid I think about 2 years ago. Im going to stop by there tomorrow and ask them if they remember the name.

I have a feeling who ever i sell this is going to frag it ASAP. Its about 6 inches round.

Hi Rob. Nope not out the hobby, just making extra cash before school starts for supplies. Books are expensive this semester, almost $800.

This does look a lot like a GoldenEye chalice from LE TYREE. Goes for about $175 per eye.

Its official. David at VIVID Aquariums confirmed its an LE TYREE peice. He forgot the name but he knows its a Golden Eye chalice. He mentioned its a pricey piece and he remembered selling it to me about two years ago.
He said its special because it doesnt have the common green rim.

I'm open to offers for the colony.

Here is the break down. They sold each eye at vivid for $125-$150. This thing has about 40 eyes on it. if somebody fragged it and sold each eye at $100 they make about $4k. Dayum!!!

I don't think anyone will buy that at $100/eye. It's a nice chalice but I would value it at around $300-350 for the colony. There's just too many of them and they all look alike.

It's a really nice coral, I wish you the best with selling it and school. Hopefully you find it a good home.

You might be surprised how much people will pay for what they want. I see pieces at vivid over $600 sell in a couple of hours while I'm there hanging out.

Yeah, but those are the new ones. For example BGM would go for around $100 and eye and now you'll be able to buy a quarter sized frag with several eyes for $50 or less. Same goes for many other chalices. The more uncommon and more obscure the chalice is the more it holds it's value. However for a morph like yours that has many names for the same coloration, the value is decreased because of there's no "collectors" looking for it. It's a nice coral and shouldn't be chopped up. I'm sure you'll find someone to buy it off you; I just don't think you'll get much over $300 for it. I watch the selling forums a lot and like to think I'm pretty up to date on things...maybe I'm wrong on this one.
