I'm going to be receiving a new tank in mid June and I'm debating a couple of ideas on how to rig the plumbing. The tank is 60x36x24, peninsula style.

I have a custom sump (36x30x18) I had made by Jayson at Ellis A. Thanks Jayson.

So the tank has 3 drains from an external overflow. I want to plumb in a filter roller. If one of the drains runs into the filter and the other just dumps into the tank, do you foresee any issue where the filter side wouldn't work correctly as there is a slight amount of backpressure? Has anyone plumbed one where you could share a photo of what is looks like.
