Excuse the cloudy water I was pulling rubble from the sump to mount a few new pieces. 400w 14k Hamiltons came in today. These suckers are bright! I'm a little more confident I can start mounting some smoothie types on flat rock around the bottom pane now.
New mariculture piece. I think it'll be a good looking addition under 14k halides once it settles. Looked like a cream color under g5s, have to see what it does under halides. Was surprisingly colorful under blue bars while mounting it tonight
Roll of the dice spontaneous tenuis purchase. I saw one crevice in this mari colony that had some insane colors in it. The rest of it was colorless, like this frag. Hopefully it settles in and gets some of that dark rainbow I was seeing.
I used potassium chloride as a dip for the first time tonight. The mari colony slimmed like a mofo and had me sweating. Hopefully they look decent in the AM with some PE. I feel they look a little more stressed than after a bayers dip but it was nice to not have to trip on using something so toxic.
Also I moved this smoothie I've had for a while to the front of the tank on the bottom. It's been a few days and I see an improvement in hints of color and PE. Good flow and now great light down there. The Enchinata piece looks insane under 14k.
