whoooow!!! that was a cool video Jess, sounded like some kind of horror film

But the worm would only do that a few time like once every 3 to 5 months this is why I was asking because if he had 5 or more fish gone in one month then it couldnt be a worm, but after his response he said it was a few months and that is why I replied then it must be a horror video worm

Is it all that unusual for fish to disappear? I've had four go missing over the last year (one RG, two fire fish and a flasher wrasse) and I just assumed they all went to the same cave in the back of the tank to "go on their way". I've never found a fish body. DO I HAVE A WORM?

you thought they left like.. "my planet needs me"..??

lol...

i've lost dartfish from jumping... check behind the tank on the floor... i've had some jump out and get eaten by my dog... -_-

it could be a lot of stuff... rock could crush them, end up in the sump, crabs, starfish, mantis shrimp, worms, the clean up crew... it's hard to point out what's going on without witnessing it yourself... some things like pistols shrimps and crabs leave evidence sometimes... others won't...

good luck...

For me its rare to lose a fish. Especially established healthy ones. Then add the Harlequin shrimp both in the same night and now a cleaner shrimp. Something isn't right. That's why I feel its a predator. I can't speak to anyone else's tank but I know mine and something is on the Hunt

Not yet. I've checked a little while after lights out but see nothing. I think I'm going to have to wait a few hrs after then check some more. Maybe try some kind of trap
Try turning your lights off a few hours earlier, you might be able to trick him.
