Very nice touch with the smaller island on the other side. Takashi Amano would be proud. Very iwagumi! :)
Wow! What a complement! I wish I knew as much as Amano has forgotten about aquascaping. I am trying to bring that style in to reef tanks and appreciate the feedback.

I peaked at the tank through the door yesterday and it looks KILLER. No I'm not a stalker... I've been fighting a cold and didn't want to get the clan sick. :)

Quick update!!!

Ammonia hit zero a few days ago and nitrites are undetectable, looks like is getting ready for corals, however I'll let it run for another month or so to start putting some corals in.

I was worried when I saw that stand with no skin. So many nice tanks nowadays with open metal stands, I'm just not a huge fan of that look. Looks awesome with that skin on it...excited to see some corals in this tank.

I wouldn't be able to keep an open stand with a 3 y/o daughter that is always sneaking around. That's the main reason why I asked my friend do the skin and came out really nice and very convenient if I need to work under the tank.

Great looking tank, love the dimensions and that's the first time I've ever really liked someone's tonga aquascape. Keep it up!

Honestly, one of the nicest rockscape i've seen. I know I'll get hung for this comment since this is a reefhead forum, but your scape will look sick with or without coral. keep up the great work.

Thanks guys for the kind words!

Its been 5 weeks cycling, I think is time to do a 100% water change and start adding some corals and some green chromis to test the tank, I decided go Bare bottom for now until i get the sand i want.
