WISH me luck im going to drill two holes in the box of my ev 400 skimmer ( cost of $479$) and install a sedra 9000 needel wheel pump and make one hell of a s recirculating skimmer( i hope). il add some pics. :dontknow:

IMO, I don't think it's gonna work. This kind of skimmer needs pressurized pump...which means the pump that needs lots of pressure to push. Needlewheel pump is not gonna work in this case. Even Sedra 9000 is not going to cut it.

update about 24hr's after mod i got about 1/4'' of light green skim in a 6'' cup.(and that is during the primeing time). just started makeing mad bubble's.
wow this skimmer is a monster here is some pic's the cup it would be allmost full if it did not have a drain on it i took some pic's of the bucket that it over flows in. the tower is full of foam. this is day 2:rocklz leave feed back thx.
