update to our 40 breeder

Hi fellow reef people. i previously shared my first diy stand and i just felt like sharing our humble tank (3 months young). My wife has allowed me to continue to put my arm in her tank and move things around as much as i want until i can get my own bigger tank. Most awesome wife ever.

The top of the rock looks kinda bare but we're hunting for some awesome sps colony deals to put there. There is also some aptasia but i have a ninja peppermint shrimp in there slowly asassinating them one by one.

We just lost our gold torch to what i think is brown jelly blah blah..so if you have one on a dope deal..SHOUT!

sharing an update to the tank. not really much change. slow growth so far and dealt with a quick oxygen depletion issue with loss of a bunch of sps and my tang. the soft stuff survived. enjoy.

update..got some new coral. change to the reefbreeders value fixture from the tek light. i have seen alot of growth since the switch. still no skimmer...enjoy (pictures edited to the best of my ability but show the true colors).

Every time a skimmer I want come up I'm broke lol. I need a hob cause my sump only has two sections and ill take cheato over a skimmer. Tank is beananimal with custom glass overflow. Custom to me is... Whatever is less expensive haha. Return is rio 3100 with 3/4" scwd. Reef breeders value fixture for lighting the display. eBay led strip for moonlight. Homedepot flood lamp for cheato and eBay LEDs for ghetto frag tank in sump.
