...so. I'm going on a trip: leaving Friday morning and returning Sunday afternoon.
I don't have a ato system.
Do you think if I add extra fresh to my tank it would be ok for a couple days?
Evap is pretty quick cause its only a 12nano.
ill be putting my inverts from my pico to the
Nano. That thing has crazy evap. Augh yiah yiah. What to do.
wish I knew someone close that I trusted to top off and feed on sat for me.

With a tank that small, I might try to find someone I trust to top off a couple times. It doesn't have to be a fellow reefer, just someone you know can follow directions. I can't tell you how many times I've left my tank in someone else's care, only to come home to pumps running dry, dead, dry, dsbs, and dead or dieing corals... When I leave for a vaca now, even if it's only a couple of days, there is ONE, and only one friend, I trust with my tanks. I might have another peraon look in on the house, the cats, the dogs, and the plants, but I've lost too much livestock on vacation to trust just anyone with my tank.

If you feed heavy on Friday follow it with a large water change just to remove any uneaten food. Just so the tank doesn't foul. As far a a couple days without food I wouldn't worry. Fish can actually absorb their scales in order to get whatever nutrition they can from them. They should be cool.

I agree with John. Just write simple directions on a piece of paper for somebody to top off your tank. Should be fine.

You can set up a cheap ato, maybe gravity fed? But you probably will be ok just for a couple of days. Adding extra RODI, or just topping it off when you get home, is about the same I don't think which way you go would really matter as you are still having a change in salinity.
