What do you guys think about china turning reefs into man made islands?

We should stop buying their products first
Then arm yourself with both equipment and knowledge and build yourself a small platoon of family and friend's.

I grew up knowing this could never happen now I know it can.....the United States is my country it my duty to be prepared to defend her. And if its never needed all the better for sure " God Bless America " and ____ Russia, China, N. Korea, and Iran.

A lot of people are naive or ignorant to think we are untouchable. The beginning of a big war as will dominate. But when we start losing airstrips/middle launching centers/etc. It'll turn into whoever can win a land war. Just like that video below said. Einstein says world war 4 will be fought with sticks and stones. We do not have unlimited resources. Look at a natural or so for city disaster like Katrina or 9/11. Sure there were lots of helping hands. But new Orleans is still trash and it took a very long time to clean up all the junk from 9/11. It only takes 1 bomb to create a lot more havoc and panic. Doesn't take much for the cookie to crumble. Just like the economy. People think they need to stop spending because the economy is doing bad. Causing more businesses to do worst.
& some people are hysterical. the only thing to worry about from china is their nukes. its hard to win a nuke war against any country without loosing a lot of your own people. that's why their wont be a nuclear war with them or Russia anytime soon.
land war? nobody wants to invade the US, china or Russia. look at china's position: they are surrounded by mountains, then they are encircled by US allies: S Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Afghanistan, etc. how many threats near/around the US? none. even Cuba sold out to us. Russia also surrounded by US allies: Ukraine, Baltics, etc. BTW, the US leveled hundreds of miles of pacific reefs in WW2 for use as airstrips. those reefs came back, except the ones we atomic tested on.
Blue navy war? China is the only top power that doesn't have 1 home-grown aircraft carrier. all they can do is attempt area-denial of their coast from US naval forces. they aren't doing a Pearl Harbor attack anytime soon. BTW, the Philippines, Vietnam, & 3 other countries also converted nearby atolls into landing strips, but just smaller.

The world is much different now than it was during ww1/2. All these countries depend on each other too much to have another world war at this point. China makes tons of money selling crap in the us. What they want is to puff their chest out and act like they are the top dog. Whatever. Plus if a world war really happened all it would take is one country to shoot off one nuke and then everyone else will shoot theirs within seconds. Boom. War over
dayum war over and world over if nukes are involved- We can't do a dang thing about China wrecking reefs but we can stop buying all the crap we don't need they produce for us. And if we want to be the model of democracy for the world we have to be smarter, pour more $ into R&D etc. Plus we need to stop wasting DoD money on outdated weapons systems and arresting 14 year old boys for bring a clock to school cuz we're so hysterical. Finally my Mauser, Klash and Browning won't do a dang thing against bombers so let's focus on real solutions.
