Here's a study that talks about it.

Neat, the conclusions of this study seem to indicate that you can detox the water with UV+bleach. I wish I had access to the whole paper to know their methods and detox process. I'm curious how effective UV or bleach are on their own. If I run UV; what is the reduction of the cipro. If I apply bleach thereafter UV how much does it detox further.

And does this process work for Ciprofloxacin only, what about Amoxicillin which is also commonly used for FKC dips.

Yeah, I’ll have to dig deeper. But I think you can simply add some bleach to the water and expose it to the sun for a couple days, then dispose.
