Wickedfish- you have such a beautiful clam! Tee-hee
The OG Daddy is Mike TOty winner, but he wanted to get rid of it for space and in it went into mines. I'm actually rescaping mainly to show him off more and to give the tangs a good stretch.

It reminds me of the gigantea at Age of Aquariums. Except that one is starting to bleach over. Really nice clam, all jokes aside.

I have a really nice small one but I can't take pics to save my life.

The Age one is double the size of this easy, but give this one another 2 years. This thing eats up some Magnesium like no ones business.

Really bleaching?
When have you last seen the clam?
This past Monday.

Bleaching may not be the right word I guess. Its more like part of the flesh is colored up but part of it is completely white. They redid the tank it was in so they moved it to another tank while it's original tank was cleaned, rescaped, and matured. When they moved it back it showed signs of serious stress. The move back was at least 2 months ago and maybe more so it's still hanging on. It looks better now than when they first moved it but every time I ask them how it's doing I get answers that vary from cautiously optimistic to not so much. It's an awesome specimen so I really hope it comes back. I remember when they had clowns hosting it; they would literally sleep inside the clam at night.
