How does the unit look in your tank? Is it discreet enough or does it draw attention to the pump like the vortech's? And what about noise? I'd love a low profile pump I could tuck away on top of my euro bracing.

This is another thing I am interested in. If you could rig up this pump to be mounted under the eurobrace it would be almost completely out of sight. I am planning on getting one to try out some different mounting options

Is this out of the way

There is a slight noise but that is to how I have it mounted. Later today I'm going to get a rubber pad to damper the vibration. That should quite it down. But it's not as noisy as my MP 60s.

Looks pretty cool. How is it supposed to be mounted? I see a piece of wood but will there be an actual mount or clips?

It does have a bracket built into it. That has magnet in it.

But in my tank I have that sea swirl that was were I wanted to put the riptide. But they will mount to the side or in an overflow even to the euro brace. But as far is I know there is no clip holder yet.
Unfortunately this is a prototype and I will have to send it back to maxspect. But when they hit the market I will buying one and the sea swirl will b coming out and the riptide will b placed on the overflow box.

That is the pulse mode. It turns on for a min then off for a min and so on. The prototype had a cheep *** controller. There saying the market version will have a controller that will let have get control of the pump.
But yes the pump moves crazy amours of water, in one direction. I only hope the retail controller offers more features.

What percentage are you running it at in the video?

I was totally sold on this pump at MACNA, but have been curious to see it running in a longer tank. Your video definitely didn't disappoint!

All the pumps in the tank were at 100% in the vid. The return pump was off for the first half of the vid.
