    Someone to cut acrylic?

Rich, Who did you order acrylic from? I stop at Plastic Depot in Torrance since it's near my office, the prices are 'fare', and I've been picking up sheets from the "odds/ends" bin which are only $4.50 a pound, but I've been looking for a cheaper source for larger cuts (4'x2'). Not to...

    Someone to cut acrylic?

Following along here in case anyone shares some advice, I'm just getting into DIY acrylic construction, so far my skimmer and reactor look good. Still need to actually put them into production. Next project may be a sump. Peter M Sent from my A100 using Tapatalk 2

    Fish ID: Wrasse?

Thanx guys! He's really interesting, shy, ambush hunter, likes to hangout under our RBTA, pulsing xenia, and other softies. Just kind of floats at a 45 degree angle. Prefers meaty foods but will go for nori too. He's all over our 220g depending on the time of day.

    Fish ID: Wrasse?

This guy has been in our office tank for about 8 months, our tank service guy brought him in as a "two spot wrasse", he's about 2.5" long. Is this what they look like when theirs really small or could it be something else? Thanx in advance.

    Fairy Wrasse leaving webbing?

Thanx guys, two days in and she is swimming around and doing well, eating each time feed. Really pretty fish. Purple head, yellow/orange sides, blue bottom and red top fin. Score for $25. Sent from my A100 using Tapatalk 2

    Fairy Wrasse leaving webbing?

We just got a blue sided fairy wrasse yesterday from the Corner Fish Store in Torrance. Very pretty fish. Other than a bit of bullying from our flame angel, it seems to be doing okay. It's hiding in rock work and tracking all movement, it took one mysis so far, and never leaves site of the...

Chiller Cleaning & Service, how to empty reservoir?

I blew most of the water out but there is still some left. Guess I'll just have to try for myself. I'll post if I have anything any issues. Thank you for your replies.

Chiller Cleaning & Service, how to empty reservoir?

This might be a stupid question, but how do you guys empty the water left in your JBJ chillers? I need to replace the probe in mine and wasn't sure what the best way to empty out the reservoir. I remember something about not tipping over refrigerators, does the same apply to chillers? Thank you!

    Sick Yellow Tang? :-(

No new additions in 4-5 months other than the feather star mentioned above. Our starry blenny picks them off just for fun because he's an "***", done trying. I've never seen him pick at the tang, more so just hanging with the tang in the past, nor any other fish, Bright Eyes is the biggest fish...

    Sick Yellow Tang? :-(

Other that what I mentioned above, no. I do move stuff from my frag to the DT and back, mainly chalices, blastos, and acans. But the fish in the FT &DT are fine, same paras, etc. Always a chance though. We are pretty bad about dipping and known aquacultured local sources for any New live stock...

    Sick Yellow Tang? :-(

Also want to add. The only thing that has passed in the tank was a feather star. Our guy who maintains the office tank put one in there when I wasn't able to audit the new additions. I told we didn't want it once I found out but he wouldn't take it back the next day. It started to die because...
