There are no nitrates but the clown is probably a bit bigger than the nem. Well with his missing tentacles he is definitely bigger. I was thinking of getting a bubble tip. Do you think if the clown had a bigger nem to spend his time with that the other one would have time to recover?

I've seen him chewing on the tentacles but not pulling them off. Stress may be the problem though.

I've got a maroon clown hosting in a condylactus. He sometimes nibbles on the nem and I've been finding chucks of the tentacles everywhere and he's looking pretty bare now. is this common? Will the tentacles grow back? Any help is appreciated. .

I just checked in on them and the tang no kinda flares up and shoos him away. He doesn't appear to be dive bombing through the rocks after him anymore

Okay I'll give it some time. The poor angel has some very minor scratches on his face from running into the rockwork. The tang will flare his fins at him for a while and then chase him for a few minutes and only stops when the angel goes into a small crevice or loses the tang.
