I had to hydrogen peroxide dipped 2 of my zoas.. they both got very very angry after I did it for about 3-5 days.. wouldn't open up at all. Now about day 7 they opened back up and look amazing. All the algae is gone also. I don't know how it works on different types of corals. But that's what...
Totally fine, I get stoked when I find them hitchhiking on my new corals. They do split and reproduce fast in some cases but they don't do harm to fish or coral.

But from your test readings to me it looks like your ammonia is already cycled and now the nitrite and nitrate is doing its think so to me from the picks it looks like it's progressing well. So now if I were you I would just keep waiting cause you need the nitrite down to 0 and the nitrate...
It's going to take a while if you don't have any live rock from a previous tank that's already established.. If your going brand new salt water and dry rock then you need to throw in a frozen shrimp from the market or throw in some already established dry rock.. To get everything to kick start...

Agreed^^ but i would still clean it out, a clean fresh tank always clears the mind of the "what ifs".. and if something happened down the road you can safely tell yourself that this problem didn't occur because I started with a fresh tank

It might be like a sea worm or a peanut worm, I wouldn't put it in my tank though, but that's just me better to be safe then sorry cause their are some nasty worms out their that could do damage

Agreed with gumbii.. if the way they wanted you to do it was just a dry fit the. I wouldn't do it... but if you have a welder and able to weld all the 90 elbows and the T's then I wouldn't see much of a problem.

Hey good luck on the tank though, I'm new to the hobby and I would be devastated if anything happened to my little reef city!
