Yes, there is a little bit of shimmer with all 6 T5 bulbs on - more surface agitation will help produce more shimmer. It's still doesn't compare to Halides or the LEDs alone. It looks really good with 2 T5s running during dusk/dawn times. I ran Halides on all my prior tanks. I'm getting use...

You can buy the fuses at Home Depot or Lowes. Buy the fuses intended for microwaves not the glass fuses (I believe Bussman is the manufacture). You need the 15 amp fuses - they are like $5. You can swap the fuse out yourself; it's easy - it's located on the back of the chiller at the bottom...

Looking good man. Where did you pick up the brackets to support the lights - Lowes, Home Depot? Did you drill the brackets into studs? My tank is about the size of yours and I'm switching to a similar light fixture soon. I like the brackets, they look clean.

To be honest, I don't think that's coming out. I mean you can blast it with a shampoo carpet cleaner and see if it helps... And, unless you want to turn those dark spots into white spots, I wouldn't use bleach.
