Everything is working well, water changes only take 10 minutes for 30 gallons- very easy to maintain this new set up.
If anyone one wants specific pics or details on any parts of my setup please ask!

Hi CY

What type of sand are you using? How deep?

I haven't decided if I'm going bb or sand for my build.

Thanks
I used carribsea premium sugar sized sand. Its been good so far! About 3" deep. If you run a refugium you can do a deep sand bed there and leave the tank bare bottom

Upland the finished filtration pics. Like to see that.

So there are 2 pumps in my system 1 laguna return pump and 1x Waterblaster 5000 this feeds Manifold for reactors and chiller, the manifold feeds:
-Gfo (MR1) & Carbon (BRS)
-Bio Pellets (Reef Octopus)
-Skimmer
-Chiller
-Calcium Reactor (Aquamaxx)

There are 2x ball valves on the return, 1 goes to the main tank, 1 goes to the city sewer to pump sump into the sewer for water changes

Ozone feeds into the skimmer

Modified herbie/bean animal drain feeds into the filter sock, there are 4x 1/4 feed lines 3 from the doser, 1x from the ATO

Looks good Cylix.
How's the temp? Heaters kick in a lot? That looks like a lot of condensation in the bracing of the sump. Get a lot of evaporation?

How do you like running ozone?

Temp is ok, my heaters kick on in tiers to prevent a massive power spike, look like they run almost 900 watts across 3 hours 3x a day. Its a pretty gradual heat up and cool down. Evap is tracking about 5-7 gallons a week which i think is actually less than my old tank used to lose.

Ozone works like a champ. Makes the skimmate dark and goopy!

This months update

Got some frags in from Gonzos corals, they are good sized, colorful and opened right up! The other frags I got this month from Reefnation 90% RTN'ed within the first 24 hrs :( . I dont know why, I assume their Alk or someother factor was way off compared to mine.
