thank you, progress is really good-cleaned, moved into my house, plumbed, leveled/adjusted, dry sand, and dry rock/aquascape....
just making the 400 gallons-it will 3-4 days
2maro i am looking for 2 boxes of IO, 4"filter sock, and 20lbs bag of live sand and i will have water----yeahhh

Get the ATB 1050a, that would be a perfect fit for the tank. Chad, who took over from Victor is local so you know the product support will be top notch, not that you'll need support for their products. Great build so far and that sump looks amazing. It's too bad reef apple doesn't try to do more marketing here in socali because they could give the other sump builders a run for their money.

thanks mike. yes the 1050 is a great skimmer and definately on my potential list-but i would probally due custom white to match my sump/plumbing
i wonder if atb still does other colors than red.
yeah, this was my first experience with a reef apple sump and it is amazing-very well built and sexy as hell

Ask Turbo for a deal on that baller light he has. Tony ReefPlanet had a couple 6 foot fixtures as well. Since your build is so clean I would definitely have a nice looking lighting system like a sfilgoi.

no chiller- in summer we keep the house at 75 so no heat issues
i do run fans on the sump though
