If you think I have been ignoring this thread, i have really been ignoring my tank and it's getting back at me now
I had someone over to frag some of my coral and do you know what? they look like crap. i have like 9 RBTA's now just having the time of their lives running around and stinging everything, my alk has dipped. I know this, not because I tested but because the pH drops below 7.5.
the real kicker is the APEX is locking up. I do have a hot standby already programmed and ready to go but I don't think that's it. I have a heavy duty power strip that runs some things like an EB4HD and and EB8 and Yo! that breaker be trippin!
also my power readings on one of the EB8's is krazy so I'm not convinced it's the APEX brain. I have to work today but Sunday and JER I'm going be doing a deep dive on the tank
on the 14th, right at 4:01 PM several things show coming on which are always on, kalk sturrer return pump tec. they didn't shut off until about 6:00 when I came home and noticed my halides were stuck on. I believe the graph shows exactly when I threw the 2 dedicated circuit breakers which serve the tank.
last night I moved the circuits which serve the EB4HD and 2nd EB8 to a different 15A convenience circuit. I'm trying to isolate what is causing all this.
