I feel like your water change drain is 2 low, might suck out sand but thats just my 2 cents.

If don't have sand otherwise I'd agree with you! But without sand it work well for removing and detrius build up

Just finished reading the thread Andy. Every pic shows more and more rocks, lol.
I like the finished aquascape, so many room for corals.
What bulb combo are you running?
I'm running 4 blue plus, 1 true actinic, and 1 purple plus and my tank doesn't look as blue as yours.

Hahahaha thanks man. It started as two island. But as soon as they were covered in coral you couldn't even tell they were islands. So embarrassed it and just added as much rock and coral as I could. I really like minimal aquascaping but for a softy LPS tank it doesn't look too flashy.

Cleaned the side walls. Here's an update shot. Flipper max cleaned my whole tank so easily. So glad I got it. I forgot what the side walls looked like clean.

Here's another update shot. When I added the Cx reactor my ALK went up and pissed my carpet nem off. Now he's hiding and doesn't want to come out to play. I've got my alk & calcium in line but I'm trying to raise my mag to kill out some of this green hair algae and bryopsis. It's everywhere. I know. But here's some photos and new ****.

Also, has anyone ever changed out ALL their live rock? im thinking of going with a tonga structure after seeing so many cool ones. Itll also give me a chance to start over without some of the "weeds".

Thanks man. Its going away slowly. But i am removing the large bits with my water changes every 2 weeks.

Here's a couple update shots. SPS have started to color up nicely. Sorry for all the blue. This one I got from IGC. It's a cool yellow color

This one I don't remember the name buts a popular one. But it has a blue rim as well.

I'm terrible at this. This ones cool as well. Green with blue polyps at the tips

This one I got from Bon and I think the name was tequila sunrise. He said the orange would come in under t5 and it has! Had to get creative trying to take a pic that looks relatively similar to how the eye perceives the tank.
