Holy ****. Wow. This scared the crap outta me. Was poking around my chaeto after my fuge light turned on and saw this bastard chilling. Should I bleach the tank and start over? It's close to an inch wide

If u haven't lost any fish recently no, just DONT touch it. I read it has stingers that can cause permanent nerve damage.. but get him out ASAP.

Hahaha dang. From bristle worms?? I guess if they hit you in the sweet spot it could happen! I definitely would not want to be stung by that guy. I've never seen a worm that size in my tank or any others in person. I'm gonna keep him. I don't have fish down there and if he tried to make it up to the display the impeller would get him for sure.

****. Well I'm planning a complete sump cleaning so I guess I'll do it then. There is no real danger of it going into my rank though. Right? Unless it reproduces I guess. And the baby worms make their way to the tank.

Yeah it could be a eunicid worm! But the things off the sides looked like a bristle worm. Either way, I'll get er out and put a video of it burning. Or eating my finger. Which ever way it goes

LOL. Plot twist. After 2 hours out of water. Not dead. Put it in fresh water and left it outside. Want to see if that will kill it. And I'm too afraid to let it out of the bucket hahaha
