I'll get one right now. He's pretty visible in QT.

Wow nice tough little guy. Sounds promising good luck Damian.
He is a fighter. I practically assumed it was dead until it started gasping for air 30 minutes after sitting in the bucket. Then a few days of floating upside down. Followed by a few days of hiding. And here we are.

I just fed it and it looks like it's picking on the brine/mysis. Crossing my fingers on this one too.

Well done dude. I would have considered him a goner. You've changed my standards of dead fish.

Seriously though. Well done. It couldn't have been easy to nurse

I was just about to flush it down until I just decided to look at the bucket one last time, and it started gasping for air. I could have sworn it was dead. It sat in that bucket for a good 45 minutes without moving at all or breathing. Thank goodness I gave it one last look.

Whoo hoo! Cooter is eating mysis and brine with gusto! He also started sleeping on the tupperware container full of sand.

I'm gonna start a dose of Prazipro in a few days.

Advice needed:

Ok, so my Kuiter has stabilized. It's been two weeks since he's in QT. I'm thinking of running some medication as a prophylactic measure. First, I was going to start with a course of prazipro. Just one dose, then change the water in 5-7 days. I'm already feeding the Kuiter Adrock's cocktail which contains metro in the food and it's eating it.

I haven't noticed any scratching. In the beginning, I noticed it pooped a thin white string so I thought it was internal parasites, but now it's pooping normal (brown/black and thick).

Are there any other preventatives I could run? I don't want to extend the quarantine period too long since it is a leopard wrasse and I've had a few die in quarantine without any ill signs in the past. I was thinking four weeks tops.

Any thoughts Adrock Robert?

I've been using NLS Ick Shield Powder with great results. The active ingredient is a form of Chloroquine Phosphate. If you google the ingredient you will see the benefits and actual usefulness of the medication. It's not hard on the fish either. But obviously if the fish is doing well and not showing any symptoms then observation, good diet, and clean water is probably the best.

I bought a bottle of this ich shield thing. Expensive as hell. Works to a certain extend IMO but cupramine is still the best bet IMO.
