Took the biopellets offline. I lost most of a red planet colony and a good part of my hawkins echinata due to super low nutrient levels. Live and learn.

Digging the low aquascape
I have always had a thing for shallow tanks. I like the spread out feel of the scape versus the stacked rock feel. If only I was talented enough to do a cool bonsai scape.

Oh, and this tank has been running full zeovit for the past 3 weeks. I had some issues with biopellets, so I took them offline and decide to get zeo a shot. I'l update as things progress but so far, so good.

What is your radion setting?
It's at 60% intensity at 14k most of the day. I ramp it up slowly at the beginning of the day and down at the end. Starts at 20k and goes to 14k and then back down to 20k. Intensity starts at 5% and slowly goes up to 60% and holds there for a good 6 hours and then goes back down to lights out. Photo period starts at 6:30am and ends at 9pm for a total of 15.5 hours. While this is a bit long, there are 3 hours or so where the tank is at a low intensity and has no effect on anything in the tank. I would consider the tank to be receiving light that the corals can use for a good 13 hours out of the day.

nice Thanks for the coral ID! Keep us posted on the Zeovit as well!
I will. I have been taking pics of some corals as the process goes on. I should have an update in a month or two with the results.

Thanks!

How does that nem get along with the sps in the back?
I have had to move corals a few times as it gets too close for comfort. I am not really happy about it, but the clowns seem to like it so I keep it.

the sunset grew out nice
Ya... a little too nice. It is taking over. I've fragged it so many times most everyone around SB has a frag lol. I can't give this stuff away.

I love all the colors. Great tank.
Thanks. I am having some difficulties dialing in the zeovit products; I have gotten some tissue recession on the tips of my joe the coral colony and miyagi tort, but this has slowed since I reduced the flow in the zeovit reactor. I think I will be adding more of the amino acids/coral foods to the water to let things get back to normal. Colors are great though.

Tank looks great. How are you not scared of your bta not going on a stinging spree, lol.

Mine like to get long sweepers, is your bubbly from a lot of light?

I'm not quite sure why the nem stays so bubbly, but I have never seen it with long tentacles. They always stay short and bulbous :)

Small photo update. I need to take some more pics. Zeovit is going ok. I had a little overdose incident where the zeovit system went into overdrive, but things are getting back to normal now.
