The pictures were taken with a Canon Rebel T1i with a sigma AF 90mm 2.8 Macro Lens on a Promaster 2x Teleconverter.

Jose Casas - I'll get a FTS maybe tomorrow.

Foselone - I took all of the pictures with a tripod and with a 2 second delay.

Letsgotothezoo - I got the lens off of ebay. I plan to upgrade to a better lens early next year, since I can't fully control the sigma lens on the t1i body, since the lens is designed for film slr's.

Really good work bud. You've taken that old AF lens (35mm specific) lens to it's full porential. Too bad you can't change the F/stop.

so when shooting with the macro lens, are you shooting thru the glass, or going from the top down with a water proof acrylic holder?

T1i Setting...

Hey Josh,

Just a tip. It seems like you have the camera set to a center AF point. if you made that setting all points, the entire piece of coral would be in focus instead of just that one point. It would make your shots that much better!

I had that exact same problem when shooting my last set of pictures. I since then have a adjusted it and I now can achieve full resolution throughout the coral specimen. It makes the pictures that much more striking!

Good luck, keep shooting!
