Hey guys and gals. As some know, I am in the middle of moving (I sold my tank in the sale section). 11 days ago I traded equipment w a fellow member here. I drove out to his place of work. Due to the arrangement, I was unable to test the items there. After getting home later that night, I placed them into a box (I was moving so things were getting packed).
Fast forward this morning. I finally set up the tank and went to install said equipment. To my disappointment, one of the powerheads did not work. After doing some trouble shooting, it was suggested and confirmed by the manufacturer that the power supply needed to be replaced.
I contacted the other party, explaining the situation and mentioning that, yes i did not check the pumps at pickup due to lack of time, lack of an available outlet and because I trusted the guy ( we knew some of the same people ). I obviously should have checked.
Short story even shorter, the other guy refused to resolve the situation amicably even though I'm open to several different approaches. He basically said that the pump worked when he had it and anything after that is my problem. Please heed my advice and check twice so you don't end up in my situation
