Help on pricing 225g Tank/Stand/Canopy

Hey guys I got a friend that wants to sell this tank. What do you think it's worth? Has a mahogany stand and canopy. 72"Lx24"Dx30"T starphire front and side panels. 2 overflows.

You don't wAnna sell it here. Sorry everyone but people around here want super ridiculous bargains. I would do the recycler and Craigslist first. People who are not already in the hobby look there first. Here you may get 600$~1100$ but there may fetch you 800-1600$.

Like stated the dimensions for reef keeping are so so but for someone here who doesn't have the funds to be picky or pricky this is a sweet tank for someone, possibly a dream tank.

U might get lucky selling it for that much...but honestly I've seen similar sized tanks with a skimmer,chiller,lights,fish,coral etc etc etc and they might ask $2500-$3000 the first month...then the next month it's $2000obo...then the third month it's $1500obo...then 6 months later they sell it for $1000. I'm not saying your tank isn't a nice tank or it's not worth that much money....BUT what will you get for it in this market??? That's the real question...good luck. It looks like a real nice tank!

just looked again at that tank its looks like a oceanic with the small 3/4 returns and tiny overflows
those in the know would see it as a white elephant due to is low flow setup
stand and canopy worth more than tank
