Pm Crystal brysochin (sp?) she knows how to use the spectra tabs for the same thing. Those are easier to get.

So close.. :)

Are you referring to the Spectrum tablets? If so, where can I get them without a prescription? I looked at Costco and nothing.
You'll most likely have to order them offline. There are a few site now where its available. Just google "interceptor no prescription" and they'll all pop up.

Interceptor has been on maufcturers backorder for over a year. It may never come back. Earliest if ever will be summer 2013, but don't hold your breath. Milbemycin the active ingredient is in Trifexis, with a flea product, spinosad, or milbemite for ear mites. Sentinel is also on backoprder but is supposed to come back before interceptor. It is milbemycin and leufenuron(for fleas).

Yes.The interceptor spectrum you can get from Canada or Australia.Difference from regular spectrum is that it also contains praziquantel which to my knowledge only harms certain types of worms(featherdusters, coco worms etc...)I have used interceptor spectrum in a mixed/sps reef and have had no ill effects.Praziquantel is the active ingredient in prazi-pro which is a anti-fluke medication that guys have been using reefs without any ill effects for some time. There are a bunch of threads on "other forums" on the spectrum and the prazi.FWIW I used a bit more than 1/2 of 1 large chewable tablet of interceptor spectrum for 240 gallon aquarium.

This is where I I got mine:

http://petvet-supply.com/

It's from Europe and does not need a prescription. It is the spectrum and did no ill effects on my sps tank. Make sure you get the one for large dogs 51-100lbs. I used this on my display tank which is 90g connected to another 75g sump. I used half a tablet which I thought was way to much but did not hurt any sps. I know Krystal said she used a whole tablet on her 300g and she said that was way too much.
