So recently my yellow tang died out of the blue. Two days later all of my fish were infested with ich. I mean I have had ich before but this time it was feirce an quick. I ended up loosing my pair black and white clowns, my pair for regular clowns, my tomini tang and my royal garamma. all of which had been in my tank more than six months. the only survivors were my yellow wrasse and engineer goby.
Now my question is do I have to get my fish out and have my tank fishless for 8 weeks to get rid of the ich in my tank? or can I leave the fish in since they survived and have the ich go through its cycle and be ich free in about 8 weeks?
You input is much appreciated.
