I just bought my tank about two weeks ago. The tank has been established for over ten years. I have read some great tips here and thought I would join. I hope to have many great conversations. Also forgot to mention 40 gallon tank

I'm at work right now and so I will post some pics at home. I can list what livestock I have atm but thereis at least one or two corals that came with the tank that I have no idea what they are. What came with the tank two engineer golbies, yellow tang, and pajama cardinal. As for coral that came with the tank frogspawn, red and green mushrooms, and 80lbs of live rock. What I added so far and my wife Is two ocellaris clowns, three turbo snails, three hermit crabs, and two peppermint shrimp. As for coral a friend gave me a candy cane. I added more of a clean up grew just to eat the crap out.

I found my setup on craigslist and he wanted a trade i had a old surround sound system and 150 bucks and it was mine. He was a guy who was getting out of the hobby and wanted someone to care for it like he once did. So I saved a few bucks but I know I will make up for it.

Welcome to the hobby! It's a lot of fun! I learn something new everyday.

I'm not sure if it's the pic, but the yellow tang looks a bit skinny. Make sure to feed it really well so it fattens up and colors up better. Nori or formula 2 is important for your tangs health.
