Well I just started setting this thing up a couple weeks ago and thought id post up a couple pics of the progress... currently about a 2 weeks into the cycle... still need to pick up an ato as well as some lighting, currently thru in a 400w halide that I had laying around so if I feel like turning on a light I can. Thanks for looking!

When I first put in the live rock...

when I bought my set up it came with two canopies, one open top, and one closed top. I figured I wanted to throw in a single AI Sol Blue unit in there when i decide to get it and figured I would need alot more room so i threw the open top on there, and then the closed top on top of that securing them together. Then did a little aquascaping. cant wait to get a light and get through this cycle.

I like your new scape and putting both those canopies together really works... not bad at all. Maybe a piece of trim around the lip of the first canopy when your all done.

Aquascape looks great.... just looks like it could tip over and break, chip or scratch the glass? Maybe it's more secure than it looks. Awesome job. Keep updates pics comin.

I used some marine epoxy and fiberglass rods to secure it, so hopefully it will hold up.

Looks great, Jeremy. How much longer until something goes in? Not to rush you or anything....:ranger:
soon as the cycle is complete.

I went ahead and ordered the ai sol blue, (sorry Brian).. hopefully one unit will be enough for my tank at least for a few months. Cant wait till its safe for me to fill with life!

How is the light coverage on the AI? I am trying to see what LED SINGLE fixture can cover 30x30x18.

I like the light, way better than MH as far as heat, and I like how easily I can control the color. I dont care for the amount of color seperation I am getting, but I ordered the 70 degree optics and hopefully that will help with that. I wouldnt know the coverage area yet since I dont have anything in my tank yet but only time will tell.
